We've been sick this week. That, and typical spring weather, has kept us in. I haven't minded so much. Although if my energy was better, I don't think I'd get down and feel cooped up. The 5 of us ate at Uno's today, but it wasn't the best outing. Seth really needed his nap and the restaurant was way too hot. We weren't gone long, so Brad and I still got things done at home. Savannah had a great time. She got the pizza she wanted and some soft serve from Treat Street.
I believe (That means I am about 90% sure.) that staying home more with the 3 of them will be enjoyable. I used to like to go. Whether I've been fighting sleep or looking for adult companionship the last 4 years, I haven't slowed down much, a little when Seth was born, but this pregnancy saw a big change in how much I get out. The desire to go is overshadowed by the discomfort, sometimes pain, my body's in, and now I have two children who often just need to be home running through the house.
I'm really drawn to Williams Sonoma. They make nice, good quality things. Their impulse buys at the register are a pancake (or egg) griddle with about 8 circles cut into it, a box of animal pancake molds, and a pancake and topping recipe book. I wanted it all. Savannah would have too. I've never felt so domestic. How did it take 3 children to get me here? They are blessings, and the third time's supposed to be the charm.
