When I was around 5 years old, my mother would get groceries every Friday. It was the only time in the week we got junk food. She'd bring home Lays potato chips and Coca-Cola, and my sister and I would sit in front of the tv with my dad and watch The Dukes of Hazard. I still get the theme song in my head. I realized yesterday that Battlestar Galactica is my new Dukes of Hazard :) Good ol' boys in space, not as light hearted, but that's what Malcolm in the Middle is for. The writing is very well thought out and executed. It's just the television I need to not get anything done or read or written myself. And now I hear the next season of episodes is coming out in the summer?
