I get very unhappy when my children don’t eat healthy food. Not every day can be great, too many breads and crunchies. But then I’m very happy when they are eating well. Recent days have been like the latter. We learned today how eager children are to eat broccoli when you tell them to “eat a little tree.” They shove the whole floret in their mouths. Tonight at supper they all asked for seconds on their spinach and fussed over who would get to eat the most. Doesn’t that just sound unreal?
